District-Level Coordination and Monitoring Committee (DISHA) is an important instrument of monitoring the implementation of various developmental schemes. This is to monitor implementation of various programmes of different departments aimed at a common goal for accelerated development through convergence. In DISHA meeting, the members of Parliament and elected representatives of the State government have crucial monitoring role.
